Welcome to Zelda Answers. What would you like to know?

It is pretty clearly stated both in Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker that the Kokiri, who later evolved into the Koroks, are the Deku Tree's creations.

Whenever a Hylian child gets lost in the woods, they become a Kokiri.

^ Where did you get that information at? I'd like to break it down piece by piece, starting with the fact that Stalchilds are Hylian Children transformed, not Kokiri. Timelinesplitter (talk) 06:10, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

I don't exactly remember, which is why I wouldn't expect you to believe it unless you have a lot of trust, which I also don't see why you would. I just remember reading it somewhere. It said something like "While it wpuld seem these children are created and protected by the Deku Tree, they are actually the spirits of Hylian children who become lost in the woods." Or something like that.

^ Sorry for being rude earlier. But I've never heard of it before. It's just pretty obvious that Hylian children become Stalchilds, considering Hylian Adults become Stalfos. Timelinesplitter (talk) 19:15, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Answer me this: What is the purpose of reproducing if Kokiri do not age? My guess is that they don't. They are simply a race of immortals who are infinitly gaurded by the Great Deku Tree, who makes it impossible for them to be endangered, hence defeating the purpose of reproduction.

^ Ah, but by that logic, is to say that Kokiri like Saria knew about Link not really being a Kokiri. Timelinesplitter (talk) 06:43, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
