there's no real evidence that confirmed that Link is really in love. but if you open your eyes you see Link has very close relationships with Malon in ocarina of time or Midna in twilight princess "Midna's behavior toward Link near the end of the game, as well as her unfinished sentence before breaking the mirror, hints toward a possible romantic attraction" That's a fact. I googled a lot and Link has several romantic actions with zelda in most games. Like "One hint of a romance between the two is given at the end of The Adventure of Link, when the awakened princess apparently kisses Link under the falling curtain. Some cut scenes in Ocarina of Time featuring Link and Zelda together have been interpreted as signs of an attraction. For example, when Link follows Zelda out of Ganondorf's crumbling castle prior to the final battle, several hearts that recover the player's life energy will be left by Zelda. Moreover, in the final scene, Link and Zelda are floating in the sky together and seem to be sharing a romantic moment."Another, less popular, theory among fans is that Link and Zelda are related by blood, either as siblings or cousins. Even though rumors started with the infamous "Save the Princess... Zelda is your... ... ..." line from A Link to the Past (later reported as a mistranslation), the theory generally revolves around the original Link and Zelda from Ocarina of Time." Early in the game during Link's graduation ceremony, Zelda walks into the room in front of Link, who is bowing down respectfully. Link then looks up and gasps and blushes at her in amazement. He is then scolded by Chancellor Cole for raising his head without permission." that was in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. He might have more romantic scenes with other characters but surely No one knows if he's in love. Hope I helped. ( even though some people don't like Link X zelda or whatever i'm supporting link with zelda and midna with link) (Also in Twilight Princess It seems Ilia is sharing a moment with link and in the ending movie Ilia is seen standing outside Link's house, but her stomach seems to have grown, but this is a very unpopular theory)
If he is then he's already failed as a hero. He should follow the same rules that the Jedi follow.
- The Jedi are completely different from the Hero of the Legend of Zelda. Being a Zelda fan and a Star Wars fan. Jedi fight for complete balance in all things, and while Link does the same, that's not his only quest being in love wouldn't drive him off the deep end, plus he's (usually) just a child after all, so it wouldn't really matter, because each incarnation usually finishes their quest, they don't really do anything else for the benefit of the balance of the Triforce in the rest of their life-time. Jedi however, live their entire life to maintain the balance of an unseen, omnipresent force. Mostly using their wisdom and guidance to achieve this. The Jedi normally do not do much other than provide guidance and are silent watchmen/women. 21:24, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
In Skyward Sword, Link and Zelda definitely love each other.
I'll just leave this here. 21:24, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
